Tikam Chand Bohra, a 2012 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, who is serving as managing director of RajFed, is going to send legal notice to a New Delhi based NGO – World Culture and Environment Commission – for misusing his name and mentioning Bohra as additional director general and member secretary of the organisation.
“I am going to take legal action against WCAEPC. They have not taken permission from me or informed me before using my name on their website. I am sending them notice to remove it immediately,” Bohra told The BuckStopper.
Interestingly, Tikam Chand Bohra, a poet by heart, too had received honorary doctorate from World Culture and Environment Commission in March last year.
The BuckStopper is the first to point out that the designation of Bohra at WCAEPC was in gross violation of service rules. That was also vetted by the department of personnel, which said that Bohra has not sought any permission for joining any non governmental organisation like WCAEPC.
The story was published on Saturday and on Monday, the website of WCAEPC was seen as under maintenance.

“There are many such organisations which give away degree, awards and certificates on payment basis. They use names of influential people without their knowledge and trap candidates to extort money. Strong action should be taken against them,” said a senior IAS officer.

The BuckStopper, run by a group of seasoned journalists, holds the powerful accountable. The buck stops with them, as they cannot shrug off their official responsibilities.
