After clearance from Election Commission of India (ECI), Rajasthan government appointed Avichal Chaturvedi as Alwar collector. ECI, Wednesday, had removed Pukhraj Sain, who was Alwar collector. Avichal Chaurvedi, who is a 2012 batch IAS officer, was working as joint secretary PHED and mission director Jal Jeevan Mission.
ECI is said to be unhappy with the performance of Sain. It had found laxity in his duty and thus recommended for his removal.
ECI had also removed SPs of three districts – Bhiwadi, Hanumangarh and Churu. Now it has given clearance for appointment of SPs in these three districts. Rajeev Pachar, which was serving as SP, Jaipur rural, has been made SP Hanumangarh. Yogesh Dhadeech, SP ACB has been appointed as SP Bhiwadi while Praveen Nayak Nunawat, who was serving as SP Deedwana-Kuchaman, has been made SP Churu.
Apart from that, the ECI also cleared appointment of two more SPs – Shantanu Kumar Singh has been appointed as Jaipur rural SP while Alok Srivastava will take over as SP Deedwana-Kuchaman.
