Jaipur discom will prepare a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for ensuring fast installation of solar p power plants under the Kusum-C scheme. The Kusum-C scheme relates to solarisation of existing grid connected agriculture pumps of capacity up to 7.5 HP.
Discoms chairman and Jaipur Discom managing director Arti Dogra said that officers should ensure that after releasing the award, all necessary actions including power purchase agreement, laying of transmission line and metre installation should be completed in a specified time limit.
“We must prepare an SOP which should be followed religiously,” she said.
Jaipur Discom has identified 86 solar power projects under Kusum – C with a total capacity of 231.52 MW to be installed near 68 units of 33/11 KV substations serving 22,923 agriculture customers.
Dogra instructed engineers and officers to do away with all difficulties which envelopes and fathers are facing while installing solar plants.
“You all should work proactively to resolve problems being faced by developers either in discom or in other departments,” she said.
Dogra said that the C component of Kusum scheme so important for supplying electricity for agriculture works during day time.
“In such situation, the installation of grid connected solar power projects is very important,” she said.
