The new pages of Lal Diary reveals conflict between son Vaibhav Gehlot and father chief minister Ashok Gehlot. The Lal diary recovered from RTDC chairman during a raid of I-T department is claimed to be in the possession of suspended minister Rajendra Gudha.
As per the pages of diary allegedly written by Gehlot's close aide Dharmendra Rathore , son Gehlot looked extremely perturbed over Gehlot for getting surrounded by bureaucrats and not listening to politicians.
“Got a call from Vaibhav Gehlot, he said, this is the reason why Papa doesn't get his government repeated. I give you in writing this time also Congress will lose badly and he himself is the reason. He gets surrounded by bureaucrats so much that political people started looking bad to him,” Vaibhav Gehlot said as per quoted in the alleged diary.
In the diary, Dharmendra Rathore allegedly wrote that Vaibhav Gehlot was angry with Ashok Gehlot.
“Ashok Gehlot hasn't done transfer of even a sweeper on my recommendation in Sawai Madhopur. This has given a wrong message to officers in the district. Danish Abrar is completely against Ashok Gehlot but he (Ashok Gehlot) insulted me on his (Abrar's) wish,” Vaibhav Gehlot being quoted by Rathore in the alleged diary.
Recently, prime minister Narendra Modi on his visit to Udaipur has mentioned about the Lal Diary. He had said that only small fish get caught in Rajasthan and big fish gets away.
“We will catch big crocodiles along with small fish. The Lal diary, which will expose the corruption of Congress government, will come out at any cost,” Modi had said.
