Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who is on a spree of appointing personal staff, appoints Heeren Joshi as media advisor. His office is now fully functional with able officers handling portfolios.
In latest appointments, Bhajan Lal Sharma appointed journalist Heeren Joshi as his media advisor, Anand Sharma as media coordinator and Satish Sareen, who is CA, has been appointed as public coordination officer.
The chief minister has already appointed Dhanraj Solanki as officer on special duty for social media.
Heeren Joshi, a journalist with leading Hindi Rajasthan Patrika with deep roots in RSS, is the right choice to be media advisor. Being young and dynamic, he will be able to meet the challenging dynamics of media relations.
A namesake of prime minister Narendra Modi's officer on special duty for communication and IT, Heeren Joshi will have to manage media as well as PM's OSD does.
PM's OSD Hiren Joshi is an electronics engineer from Pune with a PhD from the Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management, Gwalior, He has also served as an assistant professor at the Manikya Lal Verma Textile and Engineering College, Bhilwara, and had over 18 years of teaching experience before he was hand-picked by Modi to handle his digital presence in 2008, when he was Gujarat chief minister. He was also behind bringing Modi's tweets in various languages.
Bhajan Lal Sharma's Heeren Joshi is a native of Alwar and has studied at BSR government Arys College.

Ever since Bhajan Lal Sharma has become chief minister, Anand Sharma has been coordinating with media and public. He has been arranging and coordinating meetings with chief minister. A firm grooming in ABVP, Anand Sharma is a hardcore BJP man with an expertise in dealing with media and media persons. The team of Hiren Joshi and Anand Sharna form a formidable combination specially when the state is going for Lok Sabha polls. The duo is likely to come up with an unmatched media strategy ahead of elections.
Bhajan Lal Sharma has also appointed Satish Sareen as the public coordination officer. He is one of the leading chartered accounts in the state. He has been associated with Bhajan Lal for long and now the chief minsiter has appointed him to deal with public and VIPs.
