Finally former IPS officer Shivdeep Lande has officially entered the politics of Bihar seven months ahead of the assembly elections.
Lande has formed his own political party – Hind Sena. The party symbol is a tripund made in khaki background.
Lande announced that he and his party will contest the upcoming Bihar elections.
“The youth of Bihar want change. All those who want change in Bihar are welcome in the party. Many political parties have offered me to send me to Rajya Sabha, make a minister and a chief minister face,” he said.

Lande, a 2006 batch former IPS officer had tendered his resignation on September 19, 2024. Before resigning, Shivdeep was posted as an IG in Purnia. His resignation was not accepted immediately and speculations were that he may withdraw his resignation.
Lande was transferred immediately to Police headquarters and appointed as IG training. Later his resignation was accepted.
There were speculations that Lande may return to his native place Maharshtra after retirement. However, he was firm that he will serve the people of Bihar post retirement.
