Former IAS Ajit Kumar Singh attacks Gehlot and ex chief secretary for unjust behaviour

Former IAS Ajit Kumar Singh launched a veiled attack on Ashok Gehlot and ex chief secretary Inderjit Khanna for unjust behaviour

Former Ajit Kumar Singh, 1983 batch, has launched a satirical attack on former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and ex chief of Rajasthan Inderjit Khanna for unjust behaviour during his service in Rajasthan

Singh, replying to Ashok Gehlot's tweet about the landmark success of Rajiv Gandhi school in propagating education to village level, reminded Gehlot about his (Singh's) contribution in the successful implementation of this innovative scheme.

“Sir you might not remember, I had done the entire work right from conceptualisation of Rajiv Gandhi School scheme to secretion of teachers and their training and from designing curriculum to implementation of the scheme.

You (Gehlot) got so impressed with me that you praised me publicly in your speech at the launch of the scheme,” Ajit Kumar Singh wrote on X.

Singh further accused then chief secretary (Inderjit Khanna) of mis feeding Gehlot about his demeanour. As a result, Singh was transferred as member Revenue Board from planning department.

Singh also accused Gehlot of siding with partner in his son's (Eklavya Singh) company who forged his son giving losses worth several crores.

“But I still respect you (Gehlot) till date. But Yes, sometimes I have a feeling that I have imbibed Gandhian values more than you. With your permission, I shall come and meet you personally,” he wrote on twitter.

What is the case of Eklavya Singh, son of Ajit Singh?

Eklavya Singh, son of Ajit Kumar Singh had launched a mining business in partnership with seven others including Prithavi Raj, Kishore Kumar and Devendra Kumar on March 3, 2003. Eklavya Singh had a share of 33%.

Later, Eklavya Singh's partnership in the firm was terminated on April 1, 2005 after his partners furnished forged documents regarding ending of partnership.

Singh filed FIR with Gandhi Nagar police in this matter in April 2009.

In the FIR, he claimed that the deed regarding termination of his partnership were prepared when he was not even in India. He alleged that his signature was forged. Eklavya claimed that despite criminal nature of the case, it was termed a civil dispute and a final report (FR) was filed.

Eklavya Singh also indicated involvement of the then one of the cabinet ministers and former union minister for protecting the fraudsters and harming the influencing police to file FR.

”Let alone naming the then Congress Cabinet Minister who scuttled the investigation by instructing the then to not investigate further, on the advise of a former union minister of Congress, I even provided a certified copy of the order as evidence,” said Eklavya Singh, 15 years after filing the FIR.
