Former IAS officer AK Goel, whose house was raided by the election authorities and police following a complaint by Congress that he had stashed a huge sum of money at his residence, said that he will move court against the Congress leaders.
AK Goel said that the Election Commission's flying squad and Hyderabad Police Task Force inspected his house for illegal money and liquor and he fully cooperated with them.

“They did not find any illegal money and liquor in their house,” he said.
Goel said that he will file a defamation suit against the Congress leaders who lodged false complaints against him.
He said that a case will be filed in the court against former MPs Mallu Ravi, Azharuddin and Khairatabad MLA candidate Vijaya Reddy.
Who is IAS A K Goel
Ashok Kumar Goel is an IAS of 1974 batch. A native of Uttar Pradesh, Goel served for 36 years in Andhra Pradesh cadre before retiring in 2010. He joined Telangana movement after retirement under TRS chief K C Rao. In 2014, when Telangana was formed, Goel was rewarded with the post of adviser to the first Government of Telangana under K C Rao.
Goel is an author of book on Telangana – Emergence of Telangana – Prehistoric and Historic Evolution.
