Sidhi Kumari, BJP MLA and grand daughter of former Maharaja of Bikaner Karni Singh has lodged an FIR against her aunt Rajyashree, who is daughter of Karni Singh.
This is a story of yet another royal family getting embroiled in property war.
Kumari has also named Congress spokesperson Ritu Choudhary and three others in the complaint. The case has been registered and Bikaner superintendent of police Tejaswini Gautam has ordered probe into it.
In her FIR, Sidhi Kumari has accused her aunt Rajyashree of attempting to grab property using forged documents. Kumari has also accused her aunt's husband Mayur Dhwaj Gohil, his assistant Rajesh Purohit, Gaurav Binnani Pukhraj and Congress leaster Ritu Choudhary who was incharge of Bikaner during recently concluded assembly election.
Origin of Dispute
The matter of dispute arose from the poll affidavit filed by Sidhi Kumari in which she had given detail of her assets. In her affidavit, she had claimed to have an asset value of over Rs 100 crores, majorly from inheritance of a substantial portion of her late grandmother, Sushila Kumari's, property, valued at over Rs 80 crore. Sushila Kumari was a member of the erstwhile Bikaner royal family. She died in March this year owing to a prolonged illness.After the declaration, Sidhi Kumari's aunt Rajyashree complained about her alleged fake claims over property before the election commission. Congress leader and Bikaner incharge Ritu Choudhary also lodged a complaint of misrepresentation in poll affidavit before the district election officer, who is the collector of Bikaner.
What Rajyashree complained about Sidhi Kumari?
Sidhi Kumari's aunt complained before election commission that Kumari had presented wrong facts about her property and assets.
In her complaint, she had asserted that Kumari had hidden certain facts and some properties mentioned in the affidavit are disputed.
Rajyashree alleged the commercial use Prachina museum located in the grand Junagadh fort in Bikaner is a gross violation of law as the property is residential. She further claimed that she owns 25% share in the property and the suit is pending before the court of additional district magistrate -6.
Rajyashree has also disputed the property located in Mount Abu and has also alleged that the commercial use of residential property of Karni Bhawan as hotel is a gross violation of rules.
