Skeletons are tumbling out of closet soon after the candidates file their nomination.
A woman – Roopa Mathur – who claims to be wife of sitting MLA and Congress candidate Rajkumar Sharma from Nawalgarh – has accused Sharma of concealing facts in his affidavit. She has demanded cancelling of candidature of Sharma for hiding that Roopa Mathur is his wife.
Mathur said that Rajkumar got married with her in 1999 but took divorce from her in 2008 citing opposition of family members. He promised to get married again after 2008 elections. In 2009, he kept his promise and the two got married again. Later Mathur registered case of domestic violence, forceful captivity and mental torture against Sharma, which he had hidden in the affidavit.
Mathur said that Sharma in his affidavit has stated about his divorce with his first wife Paramraj and his second marriage with Nisha Sharma. In his affidavit, he has declared Gayatri Sharma as his daughter and Yuvraj Sharma as his son. There is no mention of Roopa Mathur in the affidavit.
Mathur has alleged that Sharma has also conceed the fact that an FIR has been lodged against him for forceful acquisition of land.
