ED raids has heated up the poll atmosphere of Rajasthan by conducting regular raids in paper leak case on people linked with ruling Congress.
The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), on Tuesday morning, has launched raids at 10 locations in Jaipur, Bhilwara and Nagaur. Teams of ED from Jaipur and New Delhi along with personnel of central security forces have raided places of owners of coaching institutes and candidates who had bought papers.
ED has information that some coaching institutes are involved in this racket where paper has been sold at Ra 8-10 lakh per candidate.
According to sources, the central investigating agency has raided offices and residences of a chartered accountant Narendra Kaler and Kalam Coaching institute. The coaching institute is said to have linked with a senior Congress leader of Shekhawati. A team is also launched raids in Chakdhani village of Nagaur and Kharia village of Deedwana.
According to sources, ED has raided one Yajvendra Jangid of Chakdhani village. Yajvendra is partner of Kalam Coaching. It was found that Yajvendra has bought 70 bigha land in Khajwana village in Nagaur. It's also said that Yajvendra's wife is running a coaching academy in Jaipur.
Yajvendra is a third grade teacher in government
Yajvendra is a third grade teacher and his posting is in government secondary school in Khinyas village near Chakdhani. However, he was on deputation in Jaipur Shala Darpan for last three years. Yajvendra's father is also a teacher in government school.
ED in action
ED has swung in action again after interrogating RPSC member Babulal Katara, middleman Sher Singh and mastermind Bhupendra Saran, who are in its custody for some days. The RD has also raided offices and residences of Dinesh Khodaniya, his relative Ashok Jain and Spurdha Choudhary, who is girlfriend of another mastermind Suresh Dhaka, who is on run. ED has recovered cash Ra 24 lakh and some incriminating documents from that raid.
Dinesh Khodaniya is an AICC member and close aide of chief minister Ashok Gehlot.
