ED may summon Arora, who suffered mild heart attack couple of days back

Additional chief Akhil Arora, a 1993-batch IAS, had suffered a mild heart attack earlier this week, following which a stent has been implanted in one of his blood vessels. Currently, he is recuperating.

Arora is considered an upright efficient officer and people who know him doesn't approve of his any kind of involvement in DoIT scam.

“I have been working with Arora Sir for last 10-12 years. He is an honest and upright officer. Just to expedite work, he may not follow few procedural steps in the interest of the work, but his integrity is beyond doubt. He has no role in the cash and gold seizure in Yojana Bhawan,” said a senior DoIT official.
