Enraged by frequent raids by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in Rajasthan, chief minister Ashok Gehlot said quoting another chief minister (didn't take name) that ED these days is roaming around at every home worse than dogs do.

“It is unfortunate that an elected chief minister has to say that ED is roaming around in the state like dogs. Then what can a chief minister say or do?,” Gehlot said.

It is interesting to note that Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has recently commented that more than cats and dogs the personnel of ED and Income Tax are roaming around.

In that reference Gehlot said that ED has taken a rented accommodation in Chhattisgarh and staying there for six months.

“They are camping there. What can a chief minister do? ED is dancing to the tune of centre,” he said.

The ED on Thursday had conducted raids on multiple premises of state chief Govind Singh Dotasara in a case related to paper leak.
The central investigating agency has also summoned chief minister Ashok Gehlot's son in a matter related to Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). According sources, the case is related to transferring of money through offshore shell companies in which ED had investigated Vaibhav Gehlot's once partner in business Ratan Kant Sharma of Fairmont Hotel.

Apart from that. ED had also conducted raids on from Mahuwa Om Prakash Hudla and his business associates. Hudla, who contested the election as independent is now a Congress from Mahwa. The ED is exploring his link in paper leak case as his (Hudla) brother was caught by SOG in a fake candidate case.
