DoP recommends action against 27 RAS officers not joining after transfer

The Department of Personnel (), government has decided to take action against 27 state officers who have not joined yet after getting transferred. Out of these 27, 11 may be given chargesheet while 16 officers are likely to get show cause notices.

The DoP, in last one month, has transferred more than 300 RAS officers through four different orders. Despite that 27 officers have not complied by the orders and their posts are still vacant.

The DoP now has proposed to give show cause notices to officers like Anita Meena, Amrita Choudhary, Rajpal Singh, Ashish Kumar, Bhagwat Singh, Maan Singh Meena, Vishnoi, Shefali Kushwaha, Rohit Chouhan, Priyanka Talania, Vishal Dave, Ramswarup Chouhan, Sohan Ram Choudhary, Radheshyam Delu, Kanak Jain and Anshul Singh.

Chargesheet recommended for 11 officers

The DoP had given show cause notices to 11 officers on August 24 asking them why they have not joined on the new post. The department is yet to receive any reply from these officers. Now DoP has proposed to give them chargesheet recommending to initiate disciplinary action against them. These officers include Anjana Sehrawat, Balkishan Tiwari, Chetan Chouhan, Durga Shankar Meena, Gangadhar Meena, Meenu Verma, Naresh Singh Tanwar, Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Santosh Kumar Meena, Vinit Kumar Sukhadia and Vishnu Kumar Goyal.
