Diwali joys lit up CS residence, Pant plays the perfect host

Every year on Diwali chief secretary plays host to serving and retired All India Service Officers at his residence. This time around Sudhansh Pant became the perfect host to double up the Diwali joys

More than 200 top officers of Rajasthan's power corridor gathered at the lush lawn of chief secretary Sudhansh Pant to exchange pleasantries of Diwali.

The occasion was the annual Diwali Milan Programme for All India Services officers including former and serving IAS, IPS and officers, which is being hosted every year by the chief secretary. 

The programme started with happy note and ended with even happier note. All officers and their spouses exchanged greetings between each other discovering and rediscovering the personal equations.

The host – chief secretary Sudhansh Pant – who is also the president of Rajasthan's – welcomed the guests along with his wife Chhavi Pant. The mutual relationship between officers breathed freely under open sky outside the precincts of the glass chambers.

“For us this is an extended family. We meet each other and cement our personal relationship further. The inter-personal relationship does reflect in professional work also. As the development work is dependent on various departments, there our personal relations come in executing the work efficiently,” said a senior IAS officer who didn't want to be named.

Among IAS officers present were Shikhar Agrawal, Alok Gupta, Ajitabh Sharma, Vaibhav Galriya, Anand Kumar, Kunji Lal Meena, , Anandhi, , Praveen Gupta, Naveen Jain, Kuldeep Ranka, Rajesh Yadav, Dinesh Kumar, Gayatri Rathore, Arti Dogra, Rajan Vishal, Archana Singh, Jitendra Soni, Ashish Modi, Bishnu Charan Mallick, Manisha Arora, Urmila Rajoria and Sushma Arora. Young IAS officers of 2022 batch were also present.

Apart from that, IPS officers including DGP UR Sahu, Jaipur police Biju George Joseph, Ashok Rathore, V K Singh, Sanjay Agrawal, Malini Agrawal, Anil Paliwal, Ravi Prakash Meharda and Ajay Pal Lamba among other senior officers were present.

officers of Indian Forest Service (IFS) were also present which included Head of Forest Force (HoFF) Arijit Banerjee, Uday Shankar and KC Meena among others.
