The Director General of Police Utkal Ranjan Sahu has approved presenting DG Police Commendation Disc and Commendation roll and DG Police Disc and Commendation roll along with cash reward to 61 police officers for appreciable work.
The DG Police Disc will be given to four IPS officers – Malini Agrawal, Vishal Bansal and VK Singh. The disc will be given away in coming days at a ceremony.
DGP Sahu said that the state had organised 58th Police DGP/IG Conference -2024 at the start of the year. For the success of that conference, officers including Malini Agrawal, additional director general training, Vishal Bansal, additional director general law and order and VK Singh, additional director general ATS and SOG have contributed a lot. ADG Vishal Bansal has been selected for this honour to the second time.
Apart from that, DIG Vikas Pathak, who is now on central deputation to Indo-Tibetan Border Police, has been selected for DG Police Commendation Disc and Commendation roll. Pathak is also getting this honour for the second time.
Besides, the DGP Sahu selected 57 more police officers in various ranks for this honour.
