Sanjay Singh, deputy commissioner of GST in Ghaziabad, committed suicide by jumping from 14th floor of Apex Anthena Society in Noida Sector 75.
Singh was suffering from cancer and was under depression for quite some time. He was 59-year-old and was on the verge of retirement. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
The police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem and further investigation into the incident is underway.
