Delhivery: Rising Rajasthan roadshow planned at Delhi

Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, scheduled to be held from 9-11 December, 2024 has big expectations from Delhi. A roadshow is planned on September 30 to woo investors

After successful roadshow at Mumbai where Rajasthan government signed up investment MoUs of more than Rs 4.5 lakh crore, the delegation led by chief Bhajan Lal Sharma is turning to Delhi where a mega road show is planned on 30 September followed by Ambassador's Meet on October 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, different delegations went on overseas trips to Japan, South Korea, UAE, Qatar and Italy to woo investors and investments from these countries.

The delegation to Delhi will have industry minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, chief secretary Sudhanshu Pant, additional chief secretary to CM Shikhar Agrawal and principal secretary industries Ajitabh Sharma among other senior officers.

The high level delegation will engage with leading corporate honchos inviting them to invest in Rajasthan. The proximity of industrial areas of Neemrana and Bhiwadi are a big magnet for industrialists and corporates. 

“Delhi based businessmen look at Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan for expanding their businesses. Rajasthan being the most peaceful state with industry friendly labour laws offer great incentive for them to set up their industries. With focus on water and availability and seamless road connectivity, the situation has improved a lot for businesses in the state,” said a senior official of industry department who will be the part of delegation. 

He said that the availability of skilled workforce and conducive policies make the prospects even brighter for any kind of investment to thrive.

“The business space in Noida and Gurgaon has filled to the brim. Businesses should move out of this clutter. Rajasthan is the place with stable and progressive government, which promises strict law and order and best business . We have great availability of land and workforce for any kind of business,” the official added.

Hard selling Rajasthan to Ambassadors

Ambassadors are the official representatives who are bridge between India and their respective countries. Rajasthan government will organise Ambassadors Meet and showcase their investment potential. Right from tourism to renewable energy, from to manufacturing, the top delegation will apprise Ambassadors through presentations and deliberations about the potential of the state. 

“We expect these Ambassadors to Know about Rajasthan more than what they have read. We will personally engage with them, tell them that the state is ready to host global companies. We provide best of the environment and security to businesses. An and successful Japanese zone is the testimony to the commitment of Rajasthan government. So far 49 Japanese companies are in operation at Neemrana employing more than 26,000 people,” the official said.
