Social media is abuzz with the news that as much as Rs 50 crore have been stolen from bungalow of powerful former IAS officer of UP cadre. Interestingly, no one has filed an FIR regarding the heist.
According to media reports, the news has left bureaucrats in Uttar Pradesh spellbound. Everyone is busy guessing the name of the officer and from where such a huge amount came to him.
Though there is no clear indication on the name of IAS officer, there is a hint that the former bureaucrat was very influential in the Yogi government occupying plum positions.
What if thief gets caught?
Even if the thief gets caught and the money is recovered, there is little chance that former IAS will claim the money. If he claims then he would have to be answerable for the source of heist.
