Collector sets up enquiry into treatment of ailing RAS

Acting swiftly on alleged negligence in treatment of RAS officer , Jodhpur collector Gaurav Agrawal has ordered for a probe into the line of treatment at Vasundhara Hospital.

Bishnoi is currently fighting for her life at SIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad. 

According to family members, Priyanka Bishnoi had undergone a stomach operation at Vasundhara Hospital, Jodhpur. The family alleged that the treatment was not done properly. 

“It was found that anaesthesia was administered in excess to her and her condition went serious due to excess bleeding. It was sheer negligence of hospital ,” said one of her family members.

When Gaurav Agarwal, Jodhpur Collector was apprised about the condition of Priyanka Bishnoi and the alleged negligence of hospital, he orders an enquiry into the treatment of the hospital.

The collector has asked principal of Bharti Saraswat to set up an enquiry and submit report within three days. 

The principal has constituted a  of five doctors including Dr Ranjana Desai from gynaecology department, Dr Indu Thawani from , Dr Vijay Sharma from surgery, Dr Shubhkaran Khhichad from neurology and Dr Naveen Paliwal from anaesthesia department.

“We will take immediate action after the committee submits the report,” Gaurav Agrawal said.
