CMO work distribution: Shikhar Agrawal swings into action

CMO of Bhajan Lal Sharma is all set for the show. ACS to CM Shikhar Agrawal has reallocated the work to his officers

Shikhar Agrawal, to chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has initiated action in CMO. To start with Shikhar Agrawal reallocated work among his officers to set the ball rolling. 

Among the officers of CMO, , special secretary has been given of departments like PHED, water resources, monitoring of important projects, mines and petroleum, stage service delivery war room and DIPR. 

Sidharth Sihag, joint secretary, would take care of important departments like industries, finance, taxation, excise, energy, home and police among few other related departments. 

TJ Kavitha, IFS officer and principal OSD has been given responsibility of forest, pollution control, civil aviation, tourism, , pwd and transport. 

Jaswant Singh, an RAS officer has been given responsibility of departments like agriculture, gad, animal husbandry, motor garage and general administration of CMO along with RTI dealing. 

Another senior RAS officer Vivek Kumar has been given charge of departments like food and civil supply, rural development, IT, science and technology, labour and administrative reforms.

Anju Rajpal, also working as joint secretary will take care of woman and child development, medical, dop and tribal area development.

OP Bunker, joint secretary will be looking after UDH, LSG, parliamentary affairs, disaster and election. 

Jai Prakash Narayan, deputy secretary has been given responsibility of departments like revenue, colonisation and education related departments. 

Hemendra Nagar, deputy secretary has been handed over responsibility of planning and manpower, grievance redressal, vip reference and minority among others. 

Rajkumar Singh OSD and Manoj Kumar, deputy secretary- both will be posted at residence of CM and would deal with public grievances.  

Shikhar Agrawal has appointed three officers to look into redressal of public grievances – two at the residence of CM and one at the CMO. 
The work allocation has been done after great deal of homework and looking at previous assignments of the officers. Right man at right place is key to success in a complex environment like CMO.
