In a late night reshuffle of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers, Rajasthan government appointed three RAS officers in CMO, seven officers as special assistant to as many ministers while put five officers on APO.
Jaswant Singh, who was serving as managing director of Rajasthan Seed Corporation, has been appointed as joint secretary in CMO replacing Shaheen Ali Khan, who has been put on APO.
Jagveer Singh, who was serving as home department, has been appointed as special assistant (SA) to deputy chief minister Diya Kumari. He replaced Gopal Singh, who has been put on APO. Gopal Singh was appointed as SA to Diya Kumari on December 16, 2023 soon after she took the oath.
Vivek Kumar, who was serving as officer on special duty (OSD), UID projects in DoIT, has been appointed as joint secretary in CMO. He replaced Ajay Aswal, who has been put on APO.
Ummed Singh, who was serving as additional director, social justice and empowerment, has been appointed as SA to industries minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
Kaluram, who was serving as registrar Rajasthan University, has been moved as SA to Heera Lal Nagar, state minister (independent charge) for energy.
Rajendra Singh Rathore, who was working as executive director, Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) has been appointed as SA to deputy chief minister Prem Chand Bairwa. He has replaced Sawan Kumar Chayal, who has been put on APO. Chayal was appointed as SA along with Gopal Singh on December 16, 2023.
