Rajasthan minister Bhajan Lal Sharma gave sanction for interrogating 12 officers in the infamous (JJM) scam. The chief minister also decided to terminate a lecturer of paper leak in preliminary examination – 2013.

However, names of the accused lecturer and these 12 officer are yet to come in public.

After the sanction, a case will be registered against these 12 officers and Enforcement Directorate which is investigating the case, will interrogate these officers.

Sharma approved disciplinary action under Rule 16 of CCA against 4 officials, both serving and retired, and decided to hold salary increments for serving officers.

The Enforcement Directorate has already arrested a couple of contractors in JJM scam and found that they had used inferior materials in laying of water pipelines.

The flame of interrogation has reached the minister and bureaucrats. ED had interrogated close aides of then PHED minister Mahesh Joshi and also then additional chief secretary Subodh Agarwal.

Sources said that ED could not find any substantive evidence against Subodh Agarwal after they raided his residence and office.
