Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma directed officials to prepare an action plan for implementation of investment proposals signed up at Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, held last month.
Sharma was reviewing the status of MoUs signed up in energy sector, which contributed more than 80% of the total Rs 36.4 lakh crore investment commitments pledged at Rising Rajasthan summit.
Additional chief secretary energy Alok apprised Sharma about the progress of MoU signed in the energy sector. Chief secretary Sudhansh Pant, additional chief secretary (CMO) Shikhar Agarwal, principal secretary industries Ajitabh Sharma, principal secretary (CMO) Alok Gupta and principal secretary revenue Dinesh Kumar among other senior officials were present.
Sharma directed officials to tightly monitor the process and implementation of investment proposals. He told officials to submit progress status report on progress report at CMO on 11th and 26th day of every month.
Sharma said that Rajasthan government is working continuously to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the people of the state.
“We have signed MoUs in various sectors including renewable energy (RE) projects, green hydrogen, RE park, hybrid project transmission, CNG, wind project, thermal project in the field of energy. We are targeting to become self-reliant in energy by 2027 and provide daytime electricity to farmers,” he said.
