Immediately after coming into power the BJP government in Chhattisgarh issued an order to cancel all the political appointments done during Congress regime.
The previous Congress government had given political appointments to leaders in corporations, commissions, boards and departments. Some have already tendered resignations while there are many who are still hold the posts.
The Chhattisgarh government is under process of expanding its cabinet. Once the cabinet is formed, the BJP government will adjust its political leaders in corporations, boards and commissions.
There are around 40-50 such bodies where more than 200 appointments are being done for political adjustments.
