BJP commits for ERCP in writing, promises and plans galore for youth, women and farmers in Sankalp Patra

Finally BJP has included ERCP in its manifesto, which is focussed on farmers, and youth. The saffron party while releasing its sankalp patra or manifesto promised to complete the Eastern Rajasthan Canal – an issue Congress has been raking for long. The party also promised to constitute a committee to fix and award compensation to farmers whose lands have been auctioned. It also promised to purchase wheat at Rs 2,700 a quintal. The party has also promised to enhance the Kishan Samman Nidhi to Rs 12,000 from Rs 6,000 a year.

For unemployed youth, the party promised 2.5 lakh in next five years. The party has given ticket to Upen Yadav, president of unemployed youth association also to woo unemployed youths.
The party also promised to set up Anti Romeo squads and Women Desk at every police station in the state step up women security in the state. It also promised to provide gas cylinder to poor women at Rs 450.

The BJP promised to give free scooty to girls appearing in merit of XII and on the lines of Ladli Lakshmi Scheme being run in Madhya Pradesh, the party promised to give a saving bond of Rs 2 lakh for every newborn girl child. Later on the child will be given Rs 6,000 in VI class, Rs 8,000 in IX, Rs 10,000 in X, rs 14,000 in XII and Rs 50,000 for professional studies. When the girls reaches the age of 21, an amount of Rs 1 lakh will be deposited in her account.

The party also promised to fight with corruption strongly. It promised to set up Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate into corruption happened in paper leak, midday meal, PM Aawaas, jal Jeevan Mission and other scams of Congress government.
