Setting aside rumours that BJP may deny Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ticket this time, the party announced that Shivraj will contest from his home turf Budhani. State's Home Minister Narottam Mishra to contest from Datia, Gopal Bhargava has been fielded from Rehli, Vishwas Sarang from Narela and Tulsiram Silavat to contest from Sanwer. The party released fourth list of candidates totally finalisation of 136 candidates. BJP has given chance to 24of its ministers once again in this assembly elections.
This list comes amid rumours that BJP may replace Shivraj as the chief ministerial face with other leaders. The BJP has already declared three lists of candidates in Madhya Pradesh. The second list had several BJP heavyweights in the state, including Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel, and Faggan Singh Kulaste.
