Bihar Chief secretary Amir Subhani was airlifted to New Delhi and then admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram. Subhani had been undergoing treatment in Patna after he fell in bathroom on last Thursday and suffered head injury.
According to officials, Subhani has been moved to Gurugram hospital for a comprehensive check up.
“There is good sign of improvement and there is nothing to worry about,” said an official.
Subhani, a 1987 batch IAS officer is the first chief secretary from the minority group.
A topper in his batch, Subhani is a native of Siwan district and is known as an honest and upright officer. On many occasions, he has shown his acumen and proved as face saver for the government.
