Bhajan Lal Sharma launches Niramaya Rajasthan, rolls out campaigns to prevent life style diseases 

In a revolutionary step towards ensuring a healthy , Rajasthan chief minister launched Niramaya Rajasthan campaign commemorating the World Health Day.  

Rajasthan health minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, principal medical and health Gayatri Rathore and secretary medical education Ambarish Kumar were also present on the occasion. 

Sharma also unfolded several public health programmes including  the launch of 's first dedicated programme – Madhuhari – under the National Health Mission for Type-1 Diabetes Care besides launching Eat Right Rajasthan campaign and launch of Mission Liver Smile

The Eat Right campaign is aimed at promoting good health by staying away from junk food while  Mission Liver Smile will work towards prevention and treatment of fatty liver disease. 

Rajasthan government has allocated  Rs 28,865 crores for health services – the highest ever budgetary allocation for health in the state. This shows the intent of state government, which has made radical and positive improvements in health services in the last one year. Rajasthan has secured third position in the entire country by declaring 3,355 TB-free panchayats.

Sharma also launched Chief Minister Ayushmann Adarsh Gram Panchayat Yojana, green flagged 24 mobile medical units ‘Ram Rath' and 10 Advance Life Support Ambulances while inaugurating breastfeeding management units in 29 units.

Mukhyamantri Ayushman Adarsh Gram Panchayat Yojana

Mukhyamantri Ayushman Adarsh Gram Panchayat Yojana is an innovative initiative towards improving health indices. Under this, an incentive of Rs 11 lakh will be given to the Gram Panchayat, which achieves 100% achievement in the major health index.

Among other major initiatives in health sector included mobile application launch of Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, launch of package for treatment with AYUSH method, AI based integrated monitoring system, launch of haemodialysis ward in 50 medical institutions.
