Hours after former MLA from Kishanganj (Baran) and father of current MLA Lalit Meena, Hemraj Meena accused Dushyant Singh, Jhalawar MP and son of , of confining MLAs in a hotel, BJP MLA from Anta Kanwar Lal Meena has come out in defence of Dushyant Singh.

While rubbishing the allegations of Hemraj Meena, Kanwar Lal said that MLAs from Jhalawar- Baran – the parliamentary constituency of Dushyant Singh – were staying in that hotel on their own wishes.

“Allegations against Dushyant Singh is some kind of mischief. How can any one force MLAs to stay without their consent? Impossible. Jhalawar-Baran is constituency of Dushyant Singh. Why he will confine MLAs from his assembly segments forcefully?” Kanwar Lal asked.

He said that MLA from Kishanganj Lalit Meena had come to the hotel.
“Around 2-2.30 am in the night, around 30-35 people came to take him from the hotel. I stopped them from taking him away. Then his father Hemraj came and we let Lalit go with his father,” Kanwar Lal Meena said.

He further said that Dushyant was not present in the hotel on that day.
“It's an incident of December 5. On that day Dushyant Singh was attending session in parliament. I didn't have any contact with him that day. Accusing Dushyant Singh for confining MLAs is just part of bigger conspiracy,” Kanwar Lal Meena said.

Earlier in the day, former MLA of Kishanganj and father of current MLA Lait Meena, Hemraj Meena has alleged that Dushyant Singh brought BJP MLAs of Jhalawar-Baran to Jaipur.
“When my son Lalit didn't return home, then I spoke to him. He told me that he (Lalit Meena) is staying at a resort on road and people are not allowing me to leave,” he said.
