Ajitabh Sharma, principal secretary industries held a meeting with 22 RAS officers who have been assigned protocol duties in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit to be organised from 9-11 December, 2024.
Sharma briefed them about the importance of the summit and assigned them the task.
“These RAS officers will be welcoming national and international state guests including business tycoons. They will accompany the guests and make them feel at home,” said a senior officer of industries department.
The government already has pressed 23 IAS officer in duty for the Rising Rajasthan Summit. They have been assigned one country each. They will be single point of contact for their assigned countries, fostering relationships with businesses, industry chambers, and government bodies.
Apart from that 10 young IAS officers of 2022 batch have been appointed as officer on special duty (OSD) to help and assist Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) – the nodal agency – for organising the summit.
The state government has put on all its resources for the success of this investment summit, which has already been able to attract investment of more than Rs 20 lakh crores and business interest from over 32 countries.
The industries department is coordinating well with other departments to build up a cohesive force working together for the success.
