Aalaakamaan Gehlot gets the better of Delhi Darbaar, rewards Dhariwal with ticket for loyalty

On September 25, 2022 UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal had said : “Who is Aalakamaan, Ashok Gehlot is the Aalakamaan. And Gehlot proved it right.

The Congress high command was said to be reluctant in giving ticket to Shanti Dhariwal this time due to his ‘open rebellion' against the party's top on September 25, 2022. But Gehlot in the eleventh hour, rewarded Dhariwal for his loyalty and gifted him Kota North ticket.

From Jhalrapatan, Congress has fielded a weak candidate Ram Lal Chauhan against former chief minister Vasundhara Raje making her victory a formality.

Forest minister Hemaram Chaudhary remained firm on his decision not to contest election. He brought in Col Sonaram, a turncoat who is known to switch sides as per his convenience and recommended his candidature for Gudhamalani. Sonaram, a three time MP and once , joined Congress today to replace Hemaram Chaudhary.

Similarly Manisha Gurjar who also joined Congress today will contest from Khetri. She is daughter of former MLA Dataram Gurjar.

From Nagaur, Congress has fielded Harendra Mirdha against Jyoti Mirdha who had recently left Congress to join BJP, making it a Mirdha V/S Mirdha contest.

Harendra Mirdha, who is son of Ram Niwas Mirdha, will take on his niece Jyoti Mirdha, who is daughter of Ram Prakash Mirdha and grand daughter of Nathuram Mirdha. History repeats itself, Ram Niwas Mirdha has once contested election against his uncle Nathuram Ram Mirdha, who is grand father of Jyoti Mirdha.

Against all the , the Congress has repeated Zahida From Kaman where BJP has fielded Nauksham Chaudhary, a dalit from neighbouring side of Mewat region to polarise votes.

The Congress has fielded Tejpal Mirdha against Beniwal from Khimsar. Tejpal is brother of Degana MLA Vijaypal Mirdha, who is again contesting from Degana on Congress ticket.
