In three days, BJP appointed three ministers, three fresh faces and among three two had started their electoral career as sarpanch.

Vishnu Deo Sai, who sworn in as chief minister of Chhattisgarh had a humble beginning in mainstream politics as sarpanch in his village Bagia. Similarly, the CM- designate of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma also started his career as sarpanch of his village Atari. However, chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav had beginning in his career as MLA.

From sarpanch to CM

As a testimony to the beauty of democracy, Sai and Sharma both rose from lowest tier of democratic system to politics and become chief ministers of their respective . While, Sai had been four time MP, three time MLA and union minister of besides being state president on couple of occasions before becoming the chief minister, Sharma is the first time MLA. Though he has rich organisational experience. He has been four times organisational general in state BJP.
