The Rajasthan government removed Shahpura superintendent of police Krishna Chand Yadav and put him on awaiting posting order (APO) following complaints of irregularities in his duty.
As per complaints, he has been accused of not attending office regularly and was found many a times in inebriated condition during duty hours.
The Police Headquarter recommended removal of Yadav to Election Commission, which approved his removal and replaced him with IPS Vineet Kumar Bansal.
He was serving as superintendent of police with GRP, Jodhpur. Bansal has been asked to join immediately.
The government has also transferred RAS officer Mithilesh Kumar to the post of Nadbai SDO. He was serving as Land Acquisition Office (LAO) with Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) Sikar.
