Central government clears transfers of 16 High Court judges, Rajasthan gets three judges

The Central government on Wednesday notified the transfers of sixteen High Court judges which were earlier recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium. Rajasthan Hight Court gets three judges – two from and one from Telangana High Court .

Union of State (in-charge) for Law & Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal announced the same on his X handle.

The judges who have been transferred are –

  • Justice Avneesh Jhingan from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Rajasthan High Court
  • Justice Arun Monga from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Rajasthan High Court
  • Justice Munnuri Laxman from Telangana High Court to Rajasthan High Court
  • Justice SP Kesarwani from Allahabad High Court to Calcutta High Court
  • Justice Raj Mohan Singh from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Madhya Pradesh High Court
  • Justice Narendar G from Karnataka High Court to Andhra Pradesh High Court
  • Justice Sudhir Singh from High Court to Punjab and Haryana High Court
  • Justice MV Muralidaran from Manipur High Court to Calcutta High Court
  • Justice Madhuresh Prasad from Patna High Court to Calcutta High Court
  • Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Allahabad High Court
  • Justice Rajendra Kumar-IV from Allahabad High Court to Madhya Pradesh High Court
  • Justice Nani Tagia from Gauhati High Court to Patna High Court
  • Justice C Manavedranath Roy from Andhra Pradesh High Court to
