Maharani Padmini Devi of erstwhile Jaipur royal family and mother of Rajsamand Member of Parliament Diya Kumari has been admitted in a private hospital in Jaipur after she fell in the bathroom. She has suffered injury in her shoulder, which is likely to be operated once her condition normalises.
“There is a fracture in the humorous bone near shoulder. All her tests are fine we are planning surgery on Thursday “ said Dr Rajeev Bhargava, her treating doctor.
She is also complaining of chest pain. Senior cardiologist Dr Sanjeev Sharma is attending her. She has been undergoing treatment for heart problems for long time.
Diya Kumari, who was participating in BJP's Parivartan Yatra rushed Jaipur to attend her mother.
