Utkarsh Yadav, brother of Dausa collector Devendra Yadav has cleared UPSC examination securing 32 rank. This was his third attempt.
Utkarsh's brother Devendra Kumar succeeded in 2016 securing 97th rank. Now after 9 years, celebrations are again at his home at Hameenpur in Kotputli-Behror district.
An alumnus of IIT, Utkarsh chose Anthropology as an option subject like his brother. Determined to become IAS, Utkarsh never lost hope and worked harder after failing twice in his attempts.
“My brother has always been my inspiration. It's all because of support from my family – bhaiya, bhabhi, mother and father that I could succeed,” Utkarsh said.
Utkarsh like his brother prepared for IAS in New Delhi. He studied 8-9 hours daily in normal days and stepped up to 10-12 hours couple of months before examination.
IAS Anand Kumar's son did it last time
Last year, Vinayak Kumar, son of senior IAS officer Anand Kumar had cleared UPSC adding another IAS officer in the family. Anand Kumar, a 1994 batch officer is currently serving as additional chief secretary home with Rajasthan government.
