Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma gave away Rajasthan Sampark Portal award to four departments for effective resolution of complaints lodged on Sampark portal. These departments were awarded on the occasion of Civil Services Day.
Vaibhav Galriya, a 1998 batch IAS, who is now serving as principal secretary urban development and housing (UDH) received this award for effective administration during his tenure as principal secretary agriculture prior to the current assignment.
He was awarded for achieving highest rise in relief and satisfaction percentage of complainants lodging their grievances on grievance portal.
Galriya is considered one of the most effective and easy-to-approach officers. That is the reason why he was able to deliver to the satisfaction of aggrieved farmers.
In state like Rajasthan, which is completely dependent on monsoon, bringing relief for farmers is a big task and officers have to go extra mile to resolve their issues which are perennial unlike the water sources in the state.
Rukmani Riar, a 2012 batch IAS officer, who is serving as commissioner Jaipur Nagar Nigam also received award from chief minister for reducing the average resolution time of complaints logged on to grievance portal. Helming department like Nagar Nigam, which is replete with complaints and grievances, reducing the average resolution time is a big achievement. Riar has been n this post since January 2024. She has embarked on various initiatives including the cleanliness drive of Jaipur. She was praised for her efforts in beautification of Jaipur during the Rising Rajasthan investment summit which drew investors and guests from across more than 35 countries.
Suresh Kumar Ola, a 2014 batch IAS officer, who is currently serving as commissioner horticulture, has been awarded for his efforts in reducing the average grievance resolution time on public grievance logged on grievance portal when he was serving as director local bodies.
Priyanka Goswami, a 2014 batch IAS officer, who is serving as chief executive officer in state health assurance agency, has been awarded for increasing the relief percentage in resolution of public grievances logged on grievance portal.
