An architect committed suicide naming RAS officer Mukta Rao behind it.
The architect Bharat Kumar Saini (42), owner of Gaurav Designing left a suicide note accusing Mukta Rao of not paying him for interiors of her flat on the 13th floor at Royal Green Society on Sirsi Road, Jaipur.
Mukta Rao is a 2021 batch RAS officer working as assistant settlement officer in Jaipur -I. She was the topper of her batch and had grabbed the media headline for topping the RAS examination in her attempt after 14 years of marriage.
The police registered a case of abetment of suicide and is investigating the matter.
According to police, Saini went to Royal Green Society and from the 14th floor he jumped and lost his life.

What is the case?
According to the suicide note, Saini had done the interior work of the flat owned by Mukta Rao.
The RAS officer did house warming on April 14, 2025. The architect first estimated the cost of work to be Rs 1200 per sq feet which went up to Rs 2000-2200 per sq feet.
The architect increased budget on verbal assurance of Mukta Rao who said that she will make the complete payment.
Saini took loan from market to complete the work and even mortgaged her wife's jewellery to raise money to fund the interior work.
When Saini asked for the payment, Mukta Rao refused the make the full payment and paid Rs 21 lakh out of the total 39.60 lakh.
“Her husband Dhakaji said that he can give Rs 50K- 1 lakh more after reconciliation. I immediately left and was under tremendous pressure,” Saini wrote in his suicide note.
Saini further wrote that Mukta Rao has allegedly said that he (Saini) may die now if he wants to die.
