Navdeep Singh has a history of creating ruckus
This is not for the first time Navdeep has embroiled in any controversy. He has a history of such ‘encounters' with police in cases related to land. In 2022, Navdeep Singh was arrested when he gate crashed home of his brother-in-law in a land dispute. His brother-in-law filed FIR against him and later he was arrested. That was the first time when a former DGP was arrested.
Later, in February 2023, Navdeep Singh along with his wife Param Navdeep was booked under SC/ST act when he allegedly threatens some women and men working in a farm and hurled casteist remarks on them.
