Manju Rajpal, a 2000 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre has been empaneled for additional secretary post at centre. She is among 19 IAS officers from across cadres who have Ben empaneled for additional secretary post while five IAS officers have been listed for additional secretary equivalent post. She is the only officer from Rajasthan listed for central deputation as additional secretary in this list.
Recently, IAS Naresh Pal Gangwar of 1994 batch from Rajasthan cadre was empaneled for secretary while his batchmate, also from Rajasthan cadre Roli Singh has been empaneled for secretary equivalent post.
Manju Rajpal is currently serving as principal secretary and registrar cooperative department in Rajasthan government. She had been on deputation to centre from June 2012 to March 2017 where she had served as deputy secretary in rural development ministry and then as director in cabinet secretariat.
Rajpal has severed on several other key positions in Rajasthan as commissioner JDA, secretary school education and secretary finance (budget) among others. She has also served as collector in districts like Ajmer, Bhilwara, Sikar and Dungarpur.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet cleared the empanelment of 24 IAS officers for holding additional secretary/ additional secretary equivalent level posts at the Centre.
