Kewal Khurana, a 2004 batch IPS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, passed away after fighting with cancer at at Max Hospital Saket Delhi.
Khurana was serving as IG training. He held several important positions during his tenure.
He had served in important positions like Traffic Director and Commandant General Home Guard in Uttarakhand Police. He was also instrumental in police reform and boosting the morale of the Home Guards during his tenure.
The news of his death has caused a wave of grief in the Uttarakhand Police Department.
