Keeping in line with the commitment of Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma of allotting land on fast track to companies signing up during Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, Rajasthan's industrial development agency RIICO has allotted land to four more companies paving way for realisation of a collective investment of Rs 1,100 crore in the state.
After culmination of Rising Rajasthan, RIICO had earlier allotted land to four companies which are expected to bring collective investment of around Rs 500 crore.
“These companies re in addition to earlier ones. These include Maxop Engineering Company Limited in Karoli Industrial Area in Khairthal-Tijara district, Rockman Industries Limited in Salarpur Industrial Area in Khairthal-Tijara, Lightpath Ventures Private Limited in Ukhalia Industrial Area in Bhilwara and Sun Polytex Private Limited in Kaladwas Industrial Area in Udaipur,” said a senior official of RIICO.
Inderjeet Singh, managing director of RIICO said that the corporation is committed to fulfil the commitment of chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
“Many big companies have signed MOUs in Rising Rajasthan. We are providing all possible assistance to the companies to ground their MOUs at the earliest, by way of providing industrial land so that they can start industrial units,” he said.
Companies to generate jobs in the state
Maxop Engineering Co., Ltd. is a leading company in the automobile sector engaged in manufacturing of auto component products such as die casting, fabrication and assemblies. With an investment of Rs 750 crore, this unit will provide employment to 1500 people.
Rockman Industries Limited (a Hero Group Company),engaged in special wheel manufacturing, will start their operations by making a phased investment of Rs 150 crore on 6 acres of land and will generate employment opportunities for about 250 people.
Lightpath Ventures Private Limited, a company based on manufacturing of solar panels, will generate employment to about 150 people with an investment of Rs 110 crore on 6 acres of land in Ukhalia Industrial Area in Bhilwara.
Textile based company Sun Polytex Private Limited will manufacture PP Woven fabric in this new industrial unit in Kaladwas Industrial Area in Udaipur. This unit will provide employment to more than 100 people. The company proposes to invest about Rs 87 crore in this unit to be set up on about 5 acres of land.
