Pant envisages Bhiwadi to be counter magnet for Gurugram

The fast developing industrial hub of Rajasthan – Bhiwadi – is shaping well as an alternate to neighbouring Gurugram – 40 kms from Bhiwadi. 

Rajasthan Sudhansh wants Bhiwadi to become counter magnet city for Gurugram, which is getting packed with commercial and industrial activities. 

Bhiwadi has a great appetite to absorb the spillover of Gurugram. 

“The entire National Capital Region and specially Bhiwadi has a major role looking at the huge investment proposed for Rajasthan,” said chief secretary Sudhansh Pant in review meeting of Bhiwadi Integrated Development Authority (BIDA.

Senior officers including principal secretary industries Ajitabh Sharma, principal secretary UDH Vaibhav Galriya, commissioner local bodies Kumar Pal Gautam and district collector Khairthal-Tijara Kishore Kumar were present in the review meeting.

Pant said that all departments need to make concerted efforts to develop Bhiwari as one of the most well-organised industrial cities in the country. 

He reviewed the drainage master plan prepared to solve the long standing problem of  waterlogging in Bhiwadi. He directed to complete Rs 50-crore drainage work at the earliest to get rid of civic problems. 

Pant set a goal to construct an international level convention centre in Bhiwadi while reviewing the progress of ongoing like world class zoo, stadium and transport city.

Pant also told officials to make Bhiwadi the first city in the county to have 100% digitised land record.
