IAS Vaibhav Galriya looks up to ease traffic woes of Jaipur 

Urban Development and Housing (UDH) principal secretary Vaibhav Galriya is working out plans to ease the traffic woes of Jaipur city, which is grappling with traffic jams and chaos on roads. 

He instructed officials to identify heavy traffic areas in the city and prepare an action to ease the traffic on those stretches.

“Traffic management is an important part of urban development. We must work toward easing the traffic problems of people. As part it, Khatipura road near the railway station has been widened to reduce the traffic burden,” he said. 

Galriya also reviewed the development works of Jaipur Development Authority and Rajasthan Housing Board. 

He instructed officials to take quick action on the expansion of the land bank and fast track land acquisition to provide maximum benefits to the public. 

Galriya also instructed housing board officials to expedite  enrolment of the new Nagar Extension Scheme and resolve the cases n which land has to be allotted in exchange of the acquired land. 

In the review meeting,  commissioner Anandi, housing board commissioner Rashmi Sharma, UDH Rakesh Gupta and chief town planner Anil Mathur among other officials were present.
