Parliamentarians of Tibetan community in exile met Rajasthan Housing Board Commissioner Pawan Arora and thanked him for setting up market for Tibetan traders at Mansarovar. They also expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal for facilitating their businesses in Rajasthan.
RHB Commissoner Pawan Arora told TheBuckstopper.com that the Tibetan delegation demanded citizenship for those Tibetans who have been living in the country from before 1987.
“They demanded for revival of Tibetans living here from before 1987. They also said that they will meet Chief Minister Gehlot and request him for similar Tibetan markets in other urban bodies and municipalities of Rajasthan,” Arora said.
Along with Arora, Housing Board Secretary Alpa Choudhary, Parliamentarian in exile Dorji Twestan, Tsering Lhamo, D S Rawat and O P Tripathi among other officers were present.
