Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that the state will take 10 vows – one each everyday – in the run up to Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit to be held from 9-11 December 2024.
He said that these 10 vows will help to scale up the Rajasthan economy to $350 billion – almost double the current economy.
As part of the first vow today, Bhajan Lal Sharma committed to power the inaugural day of the summit with solar power.
“This summit will bring new dawn in the economic development of the state. Our priority is to promote renewable energy for uninterrupted power supply in the state,” he said.
Sharma said that the government is working towards making self reliant in power generation by 2027.
“Due to pro industry policies, companies are looking up to Rajasthan for putting in huge investment in the field of renewable energy. Rajasthan has emerged on top in the field of renewable energy generation,” he said.
Sharma said that Rising Rajasthan summit will be a landmark in the journey of economic development of the state.
