The ACB investigation revealed that Chhatrapal Singh owns ultra luxury cars and hi end bikes. But further investigation by The BuckStopper revealed that ultra luxury cars like Porsche and Defender are used cars and was sold multiple times before Chhatrapal bought that. So the real value of his ‘cavalcade of cars' is far less than the perceived value.
“Porsche car is very old and was bought in less than Rs 10 lakh. Chhatrapal must be third or fourth owner. Similarly, Defender and Jaguar are also used cars. Chevrolet Cruz is an old car which he had bought 20 years back. The only new car he has is Mahindra Thar. Mahindra Scorpio SUV bears UP number and it is not in his name,” said a close friend.
Chhatrapal bought luxury bike in Himachal to evade tax
An adventure biker, Chhattrapal Singh owns Ra 25 lakh ultra luxurious BMW bike which he bought from Himachal Pradesh by forging his Aadhar Card and furnishing wrong address. This was done to save road tax. While Rajasthan levies 15% tax on motorcycles, tax in Himachal Pradesh 7%, which is is less than half of Rajasthan.
“This is a practice which is done for evading road tax. However, this is a serious offence and a separate case will be filed for impostering through fake documents.
