After raids on premises of RajComp General Manager (Technical) Chhatra Pal Singh, there is uneasiness in the department of IT and communication (DoIT). Officers are suspecting more action on the basis of complaints registered by agriculture minister Kirodi LaL Meena.
While luxury cars – Porsche, Jaguar and others – found in the raids against Chhatra Pal Singh are in name of others, ACB is readying to send notices to owners of these cars. The agency will also open bank lockers on Monday.
Officers under question
Meena has named Project officer Deep Shikha Saxena, deputy director Kuldeep Yadav, finance officer Kaushal Gupta in his complaint accusing them of amassing wealth disproportionate to their income. ACB and Income Tax department had conducted raids on Kuldeep Yadav earlier also when he was posted in the labour department. The agencies have found wealth and assets worth crores including plots, luxury cars, policies and fixed deposits.
Meena has also named retired officers including former additional director R C Sharma and Ashutosh Deshpande who retired last month as director (technical). R C Sharma has been accused of granting work tender to a black listed company.
Meena has also accused joint directors – Pradyuman Singh and Ranveer Singh – of taking bribes in the accounts of their respective wives.
