This flex advertising liquor shop at the divider of one of the busiest roads near the flyover connecting Dainik Bhaskar is just making the mockery of law that be.
No authority can allow advertisement a liquor shop on road divider. But as the system has become, the flex is being put up in a blatant manner without caring for a school – Vidyashram – which is just 200 metres away. Then there are two IIT coaching institutes – Allen and FIITJEE where thousands of students come daily in the age group that is more prone to such advertisement gimmicks.
Moreover, there is a newspaper office – Dainik Bhaskar and a club of RAS officers – that house custodians of the society in their respect. This act of the shop is happening just under the nose of these custodians.
“How can a liquor shop advertise its existence openly on a public road without caring for susceptible students. How can it pass through probing eyes of scribes and disciplined RAS officers who visit their club?,” said Rameshwar Singh, who shared his concerns with us along with the photograph.
